There’s still plenty to do. That’s why we’re using our 21st birthday 19/11/2016 to highlight the need for a permanent Somali museum here in Melbourne.

  • It is a common place to gather and visit for Somali Australian Culture and values.
  • Commonplace to educate our second-generation Somali Australians about their history, culture and languages
  • A place to welcome all visitors interested to know more about Somali-Australians.

Somali storybook, try to recite a Somali poem. Create a picture book about Somali cities and Towns and then speak about them with your family. You might think dressing up a day like a traditional Somali person is silly, but it’s all in the name of a very serious cause. So please share the idea with your friends on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram and help us to continue raising awareness of our culture and values.
